Not a bad deal, sure you could go buy a turbo that has not been wrecked for the same amount of money, but then you would not have that weekend project your looking for.
That is ludicrous. That is not what is considered repairable. I think if you subtracted the 1 in the beginning of the price it might sell for parts at best. As you said a cabrio slant is trading for about $125-150k
