So whatever number anyone pays that becomes market? Any arbitrary number that is paid by Purchaser X instantly becomes market value of a particular model and make of car? Outside the one transaction for those individuals I just don't see it.

What's the point of value in really in anything if everything is treated on the same level without regard to condition, mechanical fitness, bodywork and the like?

Your method of "market valuation" is interesting. It has no regard for the physical attributes of an item - just numbers.
