question about compression test

Hi all.

Would like to record my compression this weekend, and I have a small question.

When cranking my engine, I don't want to have any current going to the coils. Usually I would install the plug but these types of coil extentions don't hold a plug very well.

Seen this before, dangling coil arcs to engine and ruin them.

Dumb question, but is there a fuse I can pull that will still alow the engine to crank but not energize the coils?

Thanks.

Just unplug the coils from their harness, set them aside and crank away.
