OBC incompatibility

Recently bought an 18 button OBC to replace my 11 button version which was missing a few pixels. I've since found that the wiring in my 92 325i is not set up with two wire harnesses as the 18 button OBC needs. Do you know the part number/description etc for an 11 button OBC so I can buy a straight replacement unit? also am I right that I need to replace the 11 button unit with another 11 button unit only?
TIA.

Yes, 11 buttons= 11functions=11wires=11sensors
.

you would have to change the wire harness.

You will need to do a considerable amount of research and wire splicing to get the 18 button OBC to work in your car. I would'nt bother personally. I would check ebay for the OBC, they seem to pop up on there all the time.

Here's a writeup on it. I have no clue how hard it is. I personally wouldnt bother, I rarely ever use my OBC
