If I remember correctly: Hold down the time (or date) key until the display changes, then use the 1000/100/10/1 keys to change the it. When done press the set button. I'm assuming your car is the same as your member name?

Yep, that's the way the OBC works on my '94. Although, I had a hard time switching between AM/PM when setting the hour... I just waited till the afternoon to set the time since it was stuck in PM mode.

Ha, funny. It took me about 10 minutes to figure this out (and I have two degrees from MIT). Dang, those German guys need to learn a thing or two about designing for usability.

To switch from AM/PM, simply keep advancing the hours - it should change...

P.S. This technique doesn't work on my 318 for some reason - I think the computer is either busted or confused...

We switched from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time not long ago, & it still took me a couple days to figure out how to change the time, 2 years after I bought the thing! I gotta commend them on the engine & appointments, but for ease & functionality, they get a frickin 'F'.

How about the door lock dance. Right hand all the way over so you stuff your arm in your mouth to lock the doors.

Or the roll-both-windows-down-at-the-same-time 8 inch finger stretch which single handedly gives me pulled tendons!

What else, hmm, the little 'M' button on the automatic transmissions that starts you off in 2nd gear at a light (read: no power).

What else?

I do the dance a bit differently, i use my left as i stretch backwards to hit it with my elbow. Much easier than eating your right arm.

As for the 8 inch finger stretch, i do a quick auto down on the drivers side and then dedicate the full hand to the passenger side. But yes, much complicated stuff in these cars.
