Fault code 1286, knock sensor test pulse
 

I was checking my fault codes via the peddle pump method and this came up. I have 200k and am going to change my O2 sensor in a few days because my milage is creeping down (22, from 23-4)
98% city driving, mildly aggressive.

May be slightly rough, only some times (<30%) when idling.
Other wise no probs.

Send me your email address and i can send you info on how to change the O2 Sensor, however the knock sensor and O2 Sensor are two different things...

Thanks Jared, I changed my O2 sensor just due to age and falling milage, but the "knock sensor test pulse " code still bugs me.
I know it's unrelated.
I just want to be informed and know if ignoring it will get me in trouble down the road.
