Jacking up from the differential?
 

I was reading "jacking up your E36" on the tech article page and was wondering about where its stated thats its alright to jack up from the rear differential. I have heard that you can bend the differential mounts if you do this? :confused:

Wouldn't it be better to just raise it up from the rear axle carrier (rear crossmember)?
