Part for vintage vdo clock

I have a 1969 280SL with a non-functioning VDO clock. The solder joint that so often disables these clocks is broken in my clock which I can easily fix. My real problem is the spring loaded contact arm that, when closed, supplies power to the solenoid. The gold spring has fractured where it attaches to the arm apparatus. Are these arms available? If not, where can I get some of the 0.1 mm thick spring material to fabricate a replacement spring?
