i have ellipsoid headlights in my car and i was wondering if the dinan cai fit in there to......i have heard that it wont then i have heard it will which is it? btw i have a 328is.....thanks

Here is a resonse from an earlier post regarding ellipsoids and CAI... it's regarding the BenFer unit, but that's a near mirror of the Dinan. Hope this helps...
..."The only E36 intake we make is a one-piece aluminum version with a heatshield - which looks very similar to Dinan's, and is $299. Dinan manufactures specificly for BMW's. If you buy the right intake (specific to your model), then I can't see how you'll have a problem, ellipsoid's or not.

isn't Dinan just for North American market? Because if so, then they most likely designed their stuff using US Spec models as example. While there has been much expressed interest in Euro Ellipsoids recently, I don't think that Dinan would have taken that into account since they are targeting the GENERAL north american market.
