1988 325.... Distributor cap??

Hello All, new to the forum... I need to change my distributor cap and plug wires... Any tips on getting the cap off? It looks a little tight between the cap and the radiator.....

Thanks!

Use an 8mm socket with a small 1/4-inch drive ratchet. It's tight, but it works. I just changed mine.

Also, you will get new bolts with a new distributor cap. The rotor is also held on by 8mm bolts. Be sure to also transfer the impulse wire from the crank onto the new spark plug wire
