can u use the shark injector on multiple cars??? a few of my freinds wanna get one but we wanted to find out if we can use the same shark injector unit on differnt cars.......thanks

I'm not 100% sure how these work, but I hear that they "download" the software into your car, so that you can use it on multiple cars, theoretically. According to all the legal stuff I've seen, they only have a license of one per car. Works only on 1996-2000.

Hmm, just found out some more info:

"Its unique design allows it to be used an unlimited amount of times on ONE specific BMW vehicle. Once it is used on one BMW, it is "locked" to that vehicle's computer VIN and will not be able to program other cars (even if it's the same model)."

Sounds like good copy protection to me...
