Hey all,
I'm new to this site and forum and had a question for my first post. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using Performance chips in their E30. I have a 1987 325e and was looking on the internet for parts and saw an AC Schnitzer Peformance chip that is supposed to raise HP 26-28, torque 24-26lb, increase fuel economy and get rid of the top speed governor. I was wondering if the chip really worked and if it was worth it. I was also wondering if anyone could tell me anything that I should know about using performance chips for my E30. Thanks everyone for taking the time to read this and for your advice. Please e-mail me at bjsteinb@uiuc.edu with any insight. -BeemerGuy20 |

Hmm,
Putting a chip in an ETA is a real deal.
I waited 10 years and I am not going back. Reported gains are real. Yep the gains, in comparison, are the biggest for a car being advertised, 20% HP increase. If you put in a higher ratio differential also you will be shocked at the way it drives. You can use any differential from an 30-6, e24, e28, and Z3. Later, |
