Talking 17" Wheel with suspension kit

Hey all. I just bought a 88 BMW 325 that is my new project However, I have some questions if any of you may or may not know the answer to. I am planning to put a SPAX suspension kit on it, that will drop it 1.5 in the front and rear, with 17inch 4-100 38m offset wheels. Does anyone have information on if these are good, or if I could lower the car more, without any rubbing, and is the offset on the wheels correct?

You failed to mention the width of these 17" wheels you want. If its 7.5" or 8" wide, you will want to have a ET20 offset which means you will need 18mm thick spacers to make it work. This will allow you to run a 205 or 215 width 40 series tire (depending on manufacturer since some tires have a wider mid-section than others). You might be able to do a 225 width 40 series tire but it would be very close.....rolling your fenders should be considered mandatory.
