alternator problem ?
 

hello All,
Today i have problem with my 318i 1994...
i have to do a trip of 3 hours and i come back after one hour
and with problems, i do some search here and i thing it is my alternator
first i lost radio, power heat fan, light inside instrument and the car is stoping dead at 7 oclock in morning with - 25 celius very cold ... i wait 15 minutes and i try it for 25 more miles and stop again ,
first i thing to the conecters battery everting is good, no garage open i call my father and i ask to come with my Porsche battery, i removed all fuses for light and not use power to save the power
and i can go back to home without heat... and safe,
Tomorrow i will go to specialist for check my alternator (i removed it ), do you thing they can rebult it ? or i have to buy a new one ?
