Catalytic Converter
It is time to replace my catalytic converter on a 1986 325es. Does anyone have an opinion if the converter selling for $375 manufactured by Bosal(and $175 cheaper) is just as good as the one Peleican sells for $550 (unknown manufacturer).

Tough Q to ask on a list hosted by one of the vendors you are comparing. I would replace with stock / OEM as they last the longest. See if you can get one on a discount somewhere or if your BMW CCA membership can help you out.
You should mention in your post that you are quoting the price on a 1986 E30 325es Automatic as the one for the manual is listed everywhere at US $551.00 FWIW: I have 206,xxx miles on mine and it is fine. Jason Last edited by jase007; 02-17-2004 at 05:29 AM.. |
