You guys are the experts of this car. Please help!

I have an 87 325 as you can see in my sig. My question is, how much room is under the dash? Funny question to ask I know, but is it all sucked up by the heater and electronics? I figured that someone who has changed the dash before would know about this. Any words of wisdom?

There is some room, but certainly not enough to hide that dead body. Besides, even with the AC on max it would start to smell after a while. Why do you need room behind the dash, btw? Some things might fit, whereas others would be much better off elsewhere.

See I have these nifty comps that have touch sensative screens over LCDs that I was hoping to make an AWESOME mp3 player out of for my car. I just dont want it to be 'bling bling' as they say. Id like to keep a low profile if possible. These systems are about as big as a laptop.

There's not a whole helluva lot of room under there. It only takes a few minutes to pull the driver's side under panel off an E30, so check it out for yourself and see if you can make it fit.

Send us some pics...

When you are done. What system is it?
BTW, don't forget the shock/vibration problems. They WILL kill your HDD if you are not careful.

Yes I am aware of the issues with the vibrations. If I do end up doing it, I will post some pics. Right now I am really busy so I dont know if I will have time for it.
