Center consol/shift boot ... pulled up how does it go back down?

This happened to a 1999 BMW 325i ... i was running a XM control wire and pulled the center consol/shift boot area up to hide a wire .. well it doesn't seem to click back in .. what is the trick .. anyone know or am i screwed?

Hay, well i figured it out, i took a good look at the front and i saw the hooks. I had to use some leverage to push it back and get the hooks under the pocket trim area. thanks for the help tho. BTW it was a 5 speed.

i have this problem with the rear window switch that requires a bit of wiggling to get it to go up every once in awhile. Hence requiring the removal of the shift boot. For further reference, heres how I do it:

I tuck the rear in first and then sorta bend the front of the frame to fit the front part in. Just dont bend it too much and break it!
