lambda control 1 on 93 318

Check engine light is coming on every now and then on my 93 318. I checked the code for it and it is showing a fault with the lambda control 1.

This may be a stupid question, but is this sensor or unit replacable or is it part of the Air flow meter???

Thanks!!

lambda control is just a unit of measurment used to regulate the air/gas mixture>>>Pull your oil cap off while the eng is running & see if it starts `honking`>>if so you need a new crank case vent valve>>easy 2 replace on this model>>if NOT you prolly need a Air flow meter AND an idle valve.
