I have been some electrical problems, and I (not surprisingly) can't quite put my finger on the source (see my old post "aggravating electrical problems"), so I decided to turn to y'all for help. My radio stopped working properly after I cranked the car while it was in gear, and my heater unit and headlight switch lights went out too. I think I might have "burned" my radio as a result of a bad voltage regulator, but am not sure. I know that my battery is good, and I have checked all related grounds. I have inspected the fuses, and they seem fine. If any of you can answer any of these questions, I would be very appreciative, as you could save me a lot of money
! How do I go about checking for whether or not I have a clean power supply to the reciever? What is a voltage regulator, and where is it? Can it be replaced? What else could cause such a problem? Thank you in advance for your help.
