Front end vibration

I have a '94 325iC with a front-end vibration, particularly noticable between 60-70mph (go figure). I know its not the wheels or tires as I replaced the stock 15" wheels with 17"ers last month and the problem remains. I've read on this forum that the struts should still be good as I've only got 100k miles on the car. Another question is how can I tell if they are still good? I'm don't think the old bounce test works real well on stiff suspensions. What other suspension components should I be looking at, and could it related to any other component? I already know where to buy my parts from (as if I'd get a different answer than "PelicanParts") so I just need to know which ones to buy. Thanks.

Check out the ball joints...they sometimes go bad on these cars wich can cause a vibration at high speed

I second that, check the ball joints.

Other things to consider are:

- Control arm mounting bushings

- Steering rack coupler

- Strut retaining collars

- Front strut mounts

Lift the front -end & shake the frt wheels>>it should be tight...Sounds like your frt control arms are worn.

Now the fun part. Thanks for the advice.
