1997 328i convertible problems?
i'm not exactly sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, but my dad wanted me to come on here and ask if anyone knows of any problems that particular car may have. i'd appreciate any help you guys can give!

If the top is automatic, test and retest the top. The elsatic bands ware out and the cost is ~800.00 to fix.

I have a '94 convertible and the top still works fine. But yeah, test everything on the car... the convertible top is probably the most sensitive part of the car (with it being a 328, the top should be automatic). Other than basic convertible concerns, there is nothing specific to this car.

I have a '97 328ic and it's absolutely great. I've heard of top problems but I don't have any trouble with mine.
