Bimmerfest 2004
So who's going to Bimmerfest?
Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 1st, 2004! Pelican Parts is going to Bimmerfest - the fastest growing BMW event in the nation! This year marks the fifth annual Bimmerfest in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. Join us along with an expected 2,000 other fellow BMW enthusiasts to be part of the largest BMW-only event in North America. At the event, there will be specialty clinics, displays, a charity raffle, and the ULTIMATE Bimmer Competition. Towards the end, there will be a road rally; a leisurely drive through the local mountains lasting about one hour. Best of all, you'll get to meet and share stories with other BMW enthusiasts from different places around the nation (and check out their rides too). More details are available at www.bimmerfest.com. Just a word of warning - at this past weekends Norcal Vs Socal Euro meet also in SB, cops were just waiting outside to hand out fix it tickets to everyone. I mean EVERYONE. I saw the vid, the cops didn't give a crap about any car except the highly modified bmws, porsches, audis, etc. They said that the bimmerfest ppl have it taken care of but if you do go, make sure you have a front plate and ur windows are down (tint).

This event will be HUGE!
It's at the same location as the NoCal/SoCal event, but Bimmerfest organizers have been in contact with the city officials (including the mayor) and the local press, so hopefully the SB police will find better things to do with their time that day.
