M3 Head Machining

We have a '98 M3 that had a blown head gasket. The machine shop has infomed us that the head is slightly warped and can not be machined. They state that BMW does not allow for machining on these heads. Does anyone have experience/advice in this area?

because compression ratio is too big , you could do that , but then you need some thicker gasket !

We only needed to take .007 off the head, so we went ahead with it and the results worked out great!
