Do all E36 convertables have power tops?
Do any E30s have power tops? Thanks

Partially automatic?? what's that? From what I thought, the 318 came with the manual top (although I think the power was an option) and the higher models came with power tops. I'm interested to hear the difference between fully auto and partially auto.

All the E-30 cars I have seen have manual tops. All of the E-36 cars have had power tops.

E-30s have partial auto>>U have to unlock & push up then the motor folds it & stows it>>>E-36s are the same but some are fully auto like the E-46s>>unlocks & locks automatically ~

Not entirely true - my 1995 E36 does not lock and unlock automatically - it requires me to open a large latch at the front edge of the windshield...
