Drive shaft 325es 1987

I have a question I am trying to sort out a few things on the rear end of my car. Its making some noises and has for some time I know I have a bad wheel bearing if not two and need replaced. However I have felt issues I beleive associated with the drive shaft, or maybe the bearing. Anyway any one know how to tell if the drive shaft is going bad ?

thanks
RandyB

The driveshafts themselves don't go bad (at least I haven't seen any). The bearing that supports them, and the flex disc can disintegrate. Check out the following articles for inspection and replacement of these components:

Wayne: Thanks Alot! those articles are awsome. Do you have any part numbers to corrispond with this? Does pelican sell these parts?

BMWcowboy: Yeah I did that and the the one noise in particular goes away. So I guess that answers that question.
