e30 convertible 3rd brake light
I'm having a tough time taking off the cover on the 3rd brake light on my '91 325. There are four screws that I removed, yet the cover is very hard to take off. I thought I might brake the damn thing.
Does anyone know if I am missing something here? Is there some slot and groove there that requires me to slide the cover? Thanks! |

I have exactly same problem with my 325ic. ( lens cracked ). On another forum I saw reference to "hidden" nut. Use inspection mirror to examine total inside of trunk lid. They said should just lift off. HA. This does't help I know. Misery loves company.

I believe there is one more bolt in there that is not so obvious to see. I will have to check, as it has been a few years since I removed this cover.
