Help! Can you name this part?!
 

This part runs between the two exhaust mainfolds. What exactly is it? There are two places for tubing to run somewhere up near the black cap. Where do they go?

I didn't take it off so I don't know how it goes back on. It was given to me in a box with other misc. parts when I bought the car.

Any help is appreciated! I'm in Cali and am trying to work fast to get this smogged in time.

That would be the connection from the exhaust manifolds to the secondary air injection pump. The piece with the black cap is the air injection valve. The larger rear-facing tube connects to the pressure (output) line from the pump. The smaller front-facing tube runs over toward the left side of the engine and connects to the intake manifold adjacent to its air intake.
