Fake M3?

Does this look like a standard E46, that this wizard is tryin' to sell off as an M3? Something about the fender vents, engine cover, & front spoiler look false. Plus why would you have an intake on an M3, & ya gotta have your head firmly planted up you ass to put those rice tail lights on!

Fake. It's a 330i. Nothing wrong with that (although this one's been tarted up beyond recognition), but I feel sorry for whomever buys it thinking they've snagged an M3.

Forget the obscure stuff like the engine cover, the wrong exhaust, and the goofed-up rear emblem ("debaged and replaced," whatever). This guy's selling a 4-door, but the E46 M3 was never available in a sedan.

Yah, that trunk emblem is a sheer debacle. It doesn't look like an M3 badge, almost like the idiot took an aftermarket ///M badge, & affixed the 3 from the 330i next to it. Horrendous. My first tip off was those fender vents. The ones on an M3 aren’t as wide & rounded, that guy actually had to have holes cut in his fender to put in aftermarket junk. Then the hood has no 'tell tale' dome that is an M3 trademark. As if that wasn't obvious enough, that chrome M side marker surround makes you grimace in pain. I seriously can't see anyone who's done one iota of research in preparation for buying' an M3 biting' on this. I almost felt like emailing' this stunod, & asking "what are you thinking?"

I don't know if he edited his ad but he clearly states tht it's a 330 at the top of his description. The fact that he titled it "M3" however is awful.

Oh, and it looks awful, too. I hate people who have the money but have no taste.

Hmm, I don't remember seeing that in the description before, but I coulda been so appalled by what I saw, I missed it. Either way, to even have an utterance of M3 in that ad is deceptive, classless, dishonest, low budget, swindlin' horse crap.

The hardest parts to fake are the hood and fender flares.

I know this thread is beat down by now but I just have to say that this car is absolutely hideous & the owner of this car should be ashamed of themselves. I would be embarrassed if I went out in public in this hodge podge mess of a once good looking car. Sorry, had to get it off my chest.

One wonders why he didn't include the VIN and a phone number that yields up a meaningful result on Google.

Frickin' halerious! Some people are born in the cellar & never brought up, huh dog? The one part of your comment I would change though is, the owner of this car should be shot
