e30 m3 springs

Seems like the stock springs from an e30 m3 would be a pretty good upgrade to a 6cyl model, but does anyone know just what the difference between normal 325 (non-cabrio) springs and the m3 springs are? Are they stiffer and shorter, since the m3 was a lighter car? The m3 is a little lower than the rest of the e30's, but also had a stiffer suspension. I wonder how that would change the ride height of the front as compared to the rear, since most of the weight difference between the two models was in the front end.
