BMW Roundel A/C Problem

Here is one I'd like to get some help with. My air conditioner won't turn OFF. Yes it is stuck on. With or without the switch on, or even connected for that matter. The only way to get it off is by unplugging the compressor in the engine compartment. I also noticed that the A/C doesn't cycle as the air is always cold, and the tubes are always covered in ice. My only thoughts is that there might be a relay stuck in an on position, but I haven't found any conformation that a relay exists or where I could find it. Any thoughts?
