Engine mis
My first BMW. 1989 325ic, auto, 121k
I have a mis fire most noticable at idle although continues through acceleration. There is a slight hesitaion as well, from the get go. Drove the car from Portland to Phoenix, no problems (other than idle) and got 20-25 mpg. I have the throttle body intake boot off and in process of cleaning it. I inspected hoses/lines and there are not that many vacuum lines and even some coolant lines going up there. any ideas? other than brake vacuum and that cold start mechanism what other lines are there to check? new plugs and timing belt before i bought it and cap, coil, and rotor on the way from pelican. Help...i have a picture but am not sure how to add it to this post
