Knock Sensor

HELP!!

I understand the knock sensor (cyl.4-6) is located in front of the engine. Accessible after removing the top engine cover.
Gosh ! I can't locate it .
This is my first time. I hope you understand.

On E36 six cylinders it is under the intake manifold bolted to the block. The intake manifold needs to be reomved per Bentley. You really need a Bentley repair manual if you plan to do any DIY repairs.
