relay questions

Hello,

It was recommended by jase007 to have extra main (black) and fuel (orange) relays handy.

I’m wanting to maintain my 318 like it’s gonna be driven to Alaska and back.. (have possible failure scenarios prepared for or prevented)

Could discussion be provided regarding the relays? (where they are in car, what they do, what symptoms indicate a failed relay, etc.) (are they located in the fuse box under the hood, closest to the driver?)
