She's BAAAAAACK
well in a marathon session of rebuilding...
I have finally completed and done my first test runs of my M20 rebuild just in time to avoid having to sell it. (Had to move asap) Filled her up with Castrol 30, built up oil pressure and she fired up on the first try, broke her in for 20 minutes, and shut her off, drained th oil and re-filled with Royal Purple and new oil filter.. I can already tell... She pulls HARD. Can already tell she'll be able to smoke the tires no problem... Been driving her a bit on the easy side, alternating the throttle and I've already put 100 miles on her. I figure another 250 miles and I can really get on her.. Doesnt seem to be burning any oil at present and there was almost no smoke at start-up... Will keep all of you posted... |

Congrats on a job well done. Have rebuilt several p-car motors over the years ... never had a reason to do the M20B25
Maybe some day.May you get another couple hundred thousand miles on your new motor. Jason |
