Is it my coils...?

Hey guys, long time no see. I was wondering, on my '96 328i (manual), when it's cold in the morning and (this happens exactly once) I shift into second going up this hill out of my driveway, I get a little bit of hesitation, then it pulls through normally after two seconds and I'm good for the rest of the day. On warm mornings, no problems. Could this be my coils failing? I just rolled over 60K on the odom, so there shouldn't be too many problems yet...
