OBD-II software/tools
If I were to buy AutoEnginuity for my laptop, does this software allow resetting the engine light and service indicators or do I still need to buy an R5 for those functions?

According to their web-site, it will allow for that, at least the windows version will. I did not look into the PDA versions.
Check it out... http://www.autoenginuity.com/products-scantoolpc.html Nice tool too bad it does not work on OBD 1 cars as well.
