Relay question?
I have a 316i 1994 automatic, the three relays next to the main fuse box can anyone confirm, the position of the relays.
The 3 relays,i assumed were..1) fuel pump, 2) the control module 3) the o2 sensor,is that right? I replaced the 2nd one as fuel pump relay, the car is working fine now. Before there was no spark. Are no1 and no 2 the same relays? If not then my problem was not the fuel pump relay, but the control module relay,i am confused. Any feed back would be grate ful. thk you |

I usually identify the relays by the wires leading into them. This is how it is on my 95 325i engine.
02 sensor heater: smaller gauge wires, not as many fuel pump: has big fat red wire and a few others control module/dme: has more wires than the 02 or fuel pump Mark |
