45mm or 51mm Front Struts?
I drive a 1988 325i (4/88) and am looking at purchasing some Koni adjustables. I'm aware that front struts are either 45mm or 51mm, my question is, what exactly is this measurement? Is it the external diameter of the strut housing? or the external diameter of the shocker itself?
