Air conditioner high pressure line

Hello,
I'm converting from R12 to R134 freon for my '91 325I. I've changed the compressor, drier, lines, and expansion valve. The system is working except that my high pressure line reading is about 300 - 350 psi. Per my mechanic this is a little bit high. Does anyone knows what is the normal high pressure reading and what cause it to go this high?
Thanks,
Peter

When you converted, did you pump or vacuum the sytem out? With 134a abot 225-250 psi on high side is normal (I think).
