upgrade from sealed to ellips
Can anyone give me good instructions on upgrading the sealed beams in my '90 325is to ellips? I understand there's issues with wiring? I want to be sure I get this right. Thanks

I did it only to find that when on high beam you cannot have low and high together. They look great but you sacrifice a bit of light intensity.
Got in there and cut the wires and connected them up. Seemed pretty straight forward. I have antoher set of ellips if your looking. |

Thanks for the info. I was able to wire them up after reading a few on-line instructions. My low beams turn off when I put the high beams on. I understand that I can jump two of the relays to keep both on, but really don't need the extra light. The change from the old sealed beams is amazing. One of these days I may install euro ellipsoid smileys and then I'll need to wire in the "city" lights as well. Does anyone have any info on rear fogs? I've noticed there's an additional bulb socket in the rear taillight assemblies?
