I was reading your response to an inquiry about automatic transmission problems. You said that was one of the problems that was common with this car. It was a '99 323is. I also have a 99 323is, with a 5 speed, sport package, premium package. What are some of the problems I can expect to have down the road with this model and is there anything I can do to prevent them. I have 75K on the car now.

Keep the fluid full, and check it every year or so. Most of the problems are caused by low fluid. Check out the articles on transmissions here:
