Starting Problems, Please Help!, 85 E30

I just bought this car, here is the ad i read before i bought it. I was wondering if you guys could give me any ideas or input. Thanks for the help, Rick

1985 bmw 325e. here's the deal.....i bought the car about a year ago, the motor was blown that was in it (seen it in the guys shop) and was told the one that is in it now only had 50k on it. when i got it i was told it just needed a starter, installed a new starter and it dosent start. i believe it is a relay somewhere. the fuel pump does not come on but if you wire it straight to the battery it does. but still no fuel out of the injectors. gets plenty of spark. the car is in decent shape with very very very minor rust. it does have some hail dings and faded paint but not too bad at all. the underneath has been undercoated and is rust free. leather interior. cracks in dash, torn drivers seat otherwise the interior is clean. could make someone a great daily driver and should be easy to fix. i have no time for it and or motivation, otherwise i would fix it and drive it. oh yeah its a 2.7 inline 6 with a 5 speed transmission.
