The car is a 93 325IC. When unlocking the car from the drivers door the car cranks but will not start. Unlock the car from the trunk or passenger door the car starts fine. I replaced the door switches because of the window pinch feature wasn't working nor were the interior lights. That all works now but the start problem is driving me crazy.

Check out the wiring in the trunk area (in the wiring that goes to the trunk). A short there caused problems like these in my car...

Thanks Wayne, I'll give a good look at the wiring. I noticed some water damage in the back seat area when I was checking out the fuel pump. I have also noticed a musty smell in the trunk and some moisture. I suppose there is a leak somewhere and of course that means corrosion. I'll get on it as soon as I get back from Tokyo........
