I have searched every manual, and local junk yard for a 1989 325i picture that will provide clarification as to the correct placement for radiator/water pump hoses etc. My search has led me full circle with nothing more than I started with. I have just replaced the water pump in my car, and now I seem to have a problem with the "flow" of my cooling system, so I wanted to double check my hose's. I no longer leak antifreeze, and I have tested my thermostat and it was good, but after letting the car run for awhile it begins to steam/boil at the overflow tank, and also on the top driver side of the radiator? All but 1 hose fails to get hot, it is the hose that connects to the lower passenger side of the radiator that is connected to that "metal extension" that bolts on to the front of the block and acts as an extension with a hose on both ends? Is this hose supposed to get hot? I have began to wonder if maybe this hose is to be hooked directly to the water pump, as it is not currently? If you know of a web site that could provide some kind of picture/schematic on the correct way these hoses are hooked up you would be my hero, as I can't seem to find this info to save my you know what! Thank you for any and all help you might be able to provide!:
