The last few weeks I noticed that my BMW 321i Cabrio makes three short beeps once in a while, always during normal driving. The beeps sound like the ice alert, but that's only one and if I recall correctly it sounds a bit different.
Anybody any idea what the car is trying to tell me? |

Your 'memo' alert is on. Look on your obc, & find the memo button. This can be set to give three short beeps at any pre-set time you like. If you look at the display where your clock is, you should see a little icon showing that the memo is on. If you turn the memo off, this icon will go away.
Your right about the ice/freeze alert. That is a single chime as opposed to the three short beeps of the memo function.
