window problems
 

my windows wont go up or down, i had a guy come look at it and he put a fuse in it. but what fuse. i've looked at the fuse box but nothing specific bout with fuse is for the window. can u help me. i have a 1996 bmw 328i 6 cynlinder

Yes, There is a big black rectangular button (circuit breaker) that controls all of the windows.Most BMW's have it. If its not on the console, it is on the dash somewhere, if you have a manual look in it for the power window circuit breaker location, its under the steering wheel on my 93. Push it all the way in. It will fix your windows. By the way if you have a 96, your in the wrong forum. This forum is for us poor folks with old cars.
