Converting 325e setup to 325i setup question

Hey everyone im new to this forum, and of coarse need your help (Big surprise)

I have read MILLIONS of threads but none apply to my exact question

I have a fully stock 1987 325e with a perfect body and eventually would like to do a turbo 2.7 stroker down the road. It would be a daily street driver for the summers. I would like it to be anywhere from 225-300whp with the 2.7 stroker turbo setup. i would imagine that it would have about 10-15psi of boost, but not certain.

MY PROBLEM IS I would FIRST like to install a complete 325i motor for now. The reason being is that I would like to use the money I have to build a SOLID all around car before I spend $$ on a 2.7 stroker rebuild plus a full turbo setup and expect it to handle it. When I swap in the 2.7 stroker turbo, I would like my car to be able to handle it and be SAFE for the extra extra power. Such as buying a new clutch, transmission, suspension, wheels, brakes, bushings etc...

But what I don’t know is what external engine components would I need to change from my 325e setup to a 325i setup. One thing that I am keeping in mind is that eventually I will put a 2.7 stroker turbo, but I don’t want to see myself buying all the parts for my 325i setup, then turning around and having to replace them down the road for better performance components that would be able to handle my 2.7 stroker turbo setup.
So my question is what external engine components would I have to replace to change my 325e to a 325i motor. Keeping in mind I would like to be able to swap in the 2.7 stroker turbo down the road and able to swap it in without having to make more major changes AGAIN under the hood to accommodate for the 2.7 stroker turbo power. One example is there is no point in getting the stock 325i fuel injectors, and should use larger one right off the start. DOWN THE ROAD I don’t expect to be able to just swap out the 325i motor for the 2.7 stroker turbo and everything to hook right up to it, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO GET IT AS CLOSE AS I CAN POSSIBLY. I know I would have to change my 325 exhaust for the turbo setup, but everything else I am not quite sure about.
I hope someone/experts could give me the best information for the swap. Don’t be shy about giving specific sizes and parts, I want to do this the right way the first time.
