Turn Signal- Please help!

Hi, I changed the front lights on my 94 325is and everything was working well but today my right turn signal stopped working, this includes the headlight indicator, the side marker, the back turn signal AND the inside indicator. I turned on my emergency lights and again only the left-side works. I checked the fuses and they are all working right. The big black relay makes the normal clicking sound when the emergency lights are on. some of the wires of the front turn signal were not safely taped and I believed they might have touched. Please advice on what to do since I cant turn on my right signal!!!!

Some models in the early 90's had problems with the wire loom chaffing where it enters the trunk lid. I would check there first.

Thank you for the reply, I check and all the wires are correct, I believe these models have relays under the steeringwheel does anyone know if those deal with the turn signals/warning lights?

The relays under the driver dash are for:
Comfort Relay
Crash Control
Park Ventilation
not used
not used
EWS II (post 95)

None of the relays behind the glove box are for lights either.

The only thing I can think of that is left/right dependent is the check control module. I would double check everything near the headlight area where you did your recent work.

oh thanks for the info that really saved me some time, its the control module the black relay that is located with the rest of the fuses? Thanks again for all the help!!

According to Bentley the Check Control Module is "under the left side of dash" which isn't very specific. The on board computer display under the climate control is sometimes refereed to as the check control but I suppose it may just be the display for the check control.
