Engine blew up!
Proof positive that even authors of BMW books are not immune to the failures of the BMW water cooling system, my 528i blew a radiator hose or something near the bottom of the car this weekend. I had to have the car towed back to Pelican.
However, the silver lining is that in order to replace the hoses on the car, I have to remove a whole bunch of stuff to get to it. I wasn't planning on installing my supercharger kit for a few more months, but since I have to take everything apart now anyways, there's no reason not to. The SC kit makes the 2.8L engine go from 189 HP to 309, a *huge* increase. Keep a lookout for pictures, coming soon! -Wayne
