e36 convertible top

hello,
i work for a national auto repair facility and on of my employees
used a paper towel on the back plastic window. we have to replace(?). i am getting different answers about the make-up of the back window. zippered or stitched? it is a 1996 328i
[possibly dunkle green? british green.
